- You want to say "on most systems it's faster without blitter assistance" ?
- noooo. As long as a cpu can't do c2p for free (up to now only 040+ can do
- it dor free), blitterassistance will speed chunky games up.

- I repeat I do not flame the c2p routines. I flame the interface which won't
- allow blitter assistance.
-
- First they did copper-screen-chip-only games. They were told to support
- more configs, now they do OS but suboptimal-on-lots-of-Amigas games
- (and they are not suboptimal due to using OS, it's due to the conversion
- routines/interfaces).
-
- Another game, published by same company, a fast 3d racing game, uses
- a blitterscreen, ideal for 020-14 on a PAL monitor. The gfx is so
- cool, the floormapped 2x1 screen runs smoth on 020+14+fast and looks
- like 1x1 gfx. SNES mode 7 outside :)
-
- BUT: it won't let me select the more compatible c2p modi. manual
- tells "you need fastmem", and even though I got fastmem, I can't
- select it (ah you need fastmem for OS-compliant code, I didn't know
- that ;)
-
- I wish they'd do right one time.
